The fabulous local group The Deacons are preforming live at the Grapes
If you have been interested in folk music is Stafford for any length of time
you will have come across this groups individual members,
Dave Clark, Irwin Bottomley and Martin Thompson, all well accomplished musicians and singers in
their own right, but if you have never seen them perform as their stage act - The Deacons,
then you really have missed a treat - however, you can put all that right by getting down
to the Grapes on Wednesday 8th Feb where the Deacons will be appearing as the guest for the night.
Although they have been an established act for over thirty years, cut numerous CD's (and LP's !!)
they seldom perform together as a band these days, so this is a rare chance to see them for just a
paltry £4.00 on the door! And a FREE RAFFLE.
